What is Photosynthesis?

it's the process where plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to make food + oxygen.

The formula:

6CO₂ + 6H₂O + Light Energy
Chlorophyll → C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂

In Words:

Carbon Dioxide + Water + Sunlight'n
Glucose (food) + Oxygen

Step by step:

1. Sunlight → Captured by green stuff in leaves called Chlorophyll.
2. Water → sucked up from the soil through roots.
3. Carbom Dioxide → taken in the from the air through tiny holes in leaves.
4. Plants makes glucose → this is the plant's food for energy and growth.
5. Oxygen → released as waste. That's what we breathe.

Why it matters:

1. For plants: it's their food. Without it, they die.
2. For us: it gives us oxygen and food almost all food start with plants.
3. For Earth: it removes CO2 from the air.
